What are the consultation and surgery fees?

We follow the Australian Medical Association (AMA) specialist fee schedule.

  • If you have Medicare, a portion of your consultation fee will be rebated. The remaining gap payment will need to be covered out of pocket.

  • For surgery, our administrative staff will provide you with a detailed quote and review logistics required before your procedure. Full payment of the quoted fee is required before a surgical date can be confirmed.

Yes, we do. Please bring all claim details and reference numbers related to your TAC or WorkCover claim so that we can process your care appropriately.

Do I need to pay for my consultation at the time of my appointment?

Yes, you will need to pay your appointment in full at the time of your appointment via cashless payment.

Your private health fund will cover your hospital stay but this will have to be reviewed with your personal plan.  Your surgery will be partially covered by medicare but Mr Al’Khafaji does charge a GAP.
